All devices get work again. No full buffers yet, but the situation clearly is better now.

There is work alright... One of my Linux pc's received 135 WU's last night, all with an October 10 deadline. It is now processing the WU's in High Priority mode and I guess it needs to run like that for the next 24 hours.

Setting the cache to 10 days is of no use since the project expects work back within 4 days of sending it.

Well, your admin is overlooking and has tried several tricks in his power to help generate more work... The thing is; it is the *science* that dictates how much work there can be (which is also relevant) and no so much the 'volunteerers demand for work / credit'. The whole idea of BOINC is to run with several projects and contribute there when needed. At LC we do have a perhaps small but steady stream of work; making more work is not easily feasable (or scientifically needed right now).
