Well I ran ldd and found the following:

libglut.so.3 => not found
libGLU.so.1 => not found
libGL.so.1 => not found
libXmu.so.6 => not found
libXt.so.6 => not found
libXext.so.6 => not found
libXi.so.6 => not found
libSM.so.6 => not found
libICE.so.6 => not found
libX11.so.6 => not found

All my other boinc projects run on this box using the 2.4.30 kernel so I would assume they are all static. Is it possible to create static binaries or even for someone to point me in the right direction to what I need to install. I am not that familiar with it so any help would be appreciated.

Hi I noticed My 64 bit suse 2.6.18.8-0.1-default and 64bit opensuse 2.6.18.2-34-default, are failing all of both kinds of wu :-(

:embarrassed: read those 2 other threads and a bunch more, don't know what ldd is or where.

wanless [wep-m+2] wouldn't run on my red-hat 'till Berenol added the glibc it needed.Finding installing linking libraries is an interesting enough hurdle for Me to attempt perhaps but, as with wanless I had just got My machine to do wanless when Bearnol asked if that machine (unmodified) could do wanless (modified).

So I guess the question is, is it of use to You, for Me to modify 1 or more of these linuxes ,if not, when or how often, should these machines attempt to do a wu.

atm My teams potm is getting most of My crunchability but testing is where My true interest lay. I am more proud of the 3 pirate wu that hung cores on me yesterday than the 3k cs @ abc.Dealing with the 'stacks' problem at docking got me much further into the guts of linux than I had been before (they added a wrapper to fix that so no more) their HR problems make for pushing the BOINC framework and opening up to projects and making accessible 'special' capabilities of our machines.
