I recently found out by accident that this project has graphics/screensaver.
My question is: Is the activity seen in the graphics actually related to the computation being carried out for that work unit, or is it just pretty, but abstract artwork?

The screen saver is actually the graphical representation of the simulation the computer is doing at that moment.

Funny behaviour of the screensaver: Having all systems (XP Home, XP Professional, Win7 32-bit, Win7 64-bit, Win8 Dev 64-bit) with the same settings, only in my Win8 Dev 64-bit system the screensaver pops up, and I cannot close the window. The -unsupported- Win8 system also works under the -unsupported- BOINC 7.0.3, needed for POEM@Home.
