Is it possible that CPU type AMDAthlonMP is NOT a known type in your list?

The BOINC version reads the CPU version from the BIOS.

Older BOINC versions didn't read all of the info. Newer versions do, as far as the BIOS (MDI) is available to be read.

There isn't a database with various CPU versions available on any project. The BOINC server software just reads what it gets from the client.

Update to a newer client of BOINC to get a newer update of what your CPU looks like. If possible..

Hello Jord,

I have updated all machines to the latest BOINC client. Now, instead on pending credit climbing at around 100 per day, it looks like about 300 per day. :-(

I will give it a little more time, then I will need a real answer to the situation. One that solves the problem outright.

Thank you,

DN.

Hello again,

Ok, so I just spent a couple hours reading pretty much every thread on this subject, and I have a thought:

Is it possible that CPU type AMDAthlonMP is NOT a known type in your list?

Just a thought.

I got more then 1300 credits pending and was wondering if there's a problem with the project ?

R.

Hello there,

I have over 3,300 credits pending.

Most are from one machine which is a dual AthlonMP 1600+ machine.

Some are from a single processor Duron 1100.

Neither of these are particularly rare CPUs.

Is there an admin here that can take a look?

I read this thread about a month ago, and decided to wait patiently for it to level out. It hasn't leveled out and gets worse every day.

I don't want to leave this project, but it feels like I am never going to see credit from those two machines.

If that is the case, it wouldn't be smart to wait it out until it hits 10,000 pending credits. ;-)

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

DN.
